What is RUSU?
Reading University Students’ Union (RUSU) exists to enhance your time at the University of Reading. From the advice staff working in The Hub to the student staff working behind the bar and the Student Officers elected by you to speak up on your behalf, we are all here to help you make the most of your student experience.
As a student at the University of Reading you are automatically a member of RUSU, entitling you to have a say in directing the Students’ Union. You can attend the Democracy meetings and put forward ideas on what you would like RUSU to campaign on.
RUSU provides over 100 student representation groups, societies, sports clubs and volunteer groups including a student media section. The Union offers independent advice on anything from immigration to finance and housing to education by way of the Student Advice team.
All the money we receive through our venue and retail outlets goes back into the organisation to provide, improve and develop services to our members, you the students.

Our Mission (what we exist for)
RUSU is a democratic student led organisation. We provide high quality representation, opportunities for personal development and excellent services and facilities to all our members.
