There are currently 57 sports clubs run by RUSU, so if it's weekly matches, regular training, trips away or just a good social atmosphere there should be something here for you.
The majority of the competitive clubs play on a Wednesday afternoon in the British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) and the Southern England Students Sports Association (SESSA) leagues. These leagues are the national and regional leagues for student sports including Rugby, Football, Hockey, Netball and many more.
Not all of our sports are competitive and we have a huge variety of martial arts, dance, outdoor pursuits and watersports that may interest you. All these are overseen by our Sports Federation. If you join one or more you will become a member of this and be covered by RUSU’s Sports Federation Personal Injury Insurance.
