Keep it Quiet

We all know getting home back after a big night out can be a mission!

But please remember that there are likely to be other students trying to get their essays and dissertations done, young couples and businessmen/women that may have to get up at 5am to commute and families with children that could get scared by the noise outside their bedroom windows.

Simple things you can do:

  • Keep quieter when on your way to and from venues
  • When you get back home and want to continue the party, be considerate of your neighbours
  • If your neighbours knock and ask you to keep the noise down please don't dismiss them
  • If your planning a house party, tell your neighbours and agree on a reasonable time for the party to end
  • During exam period - remember there are many students that will have exams both before and after you so please be considerate when your lucky enough to not have any exams!

What have RUSU been up to on this campaign?

- Handing out lollies at the end of big Union nights 'Stop Shouting Start Sucking'
- Got hold of Dr Karl Kennedy and Stingray from Neighbours to pose for our posters
- SSHH posters up in halls and bus stops around campus
- Put door hangers on your doors to remind you to respect your neighbours during exams
