Condoms

RUSU offers free condoms and lube for all Reading students throughout the year. Britain has the worst record in Europe for sexual health in young people and the highest teenage pregnancy rate, so RUSU believes it has an obligation to its members to provide them free. You can get hold of them through the channels in the table above.

Where else can I get condoms?

  • All of the toilets in RUSU have condom machines, but you will have to pay for these.
  • The University Health Centre from the reception on Northcourt Road – these are free.
  • The Florey Unit is the sexual health clinic based at the Royal Berkshire Hospital and they provide free condoms and lube. The clinic can be found at 21a Craven Road.
  • Any chemist will sell you condoms and shops like Superdrug and Boots.

Where can I get other forms of contraceptives?

  • The Florey Unit is the sexual health clinic based at the Royal Berkshire Hospital and they provide all kinds of contraceptives. The clinic can be found at 21a Craven Road.
