Manifesto

I am a second year law student who has been an active member of the union for the last two years. I am currently a member of this years very strong Netball committee and next year hope to be the Vice President. This has enabled me to demonstrate good communication skills, leadership and most importantly integrity, all of which I believe are key attributes of a student trustee. Along side being an active member of the sports federation I am part of the Officer Training Corps (OTC) which has taught me to be strong and confident in establishing my view, as well as to inspiring others to have confidence in my opinion. As a student trustee I would use these key elements of my character to ensure the student voice is heard and the opinions of those I represent are understood and given the weight they deserve.

Three Main Points

• Confidence and communication skills in representing the students
• Leadership to maintain the best possible union for the students
• And ensure integrity in decision making
