Elect Bernadette Hewitt to represent you at NUS Conference and you'll know you'll be sending someone who can really cut it?

• I delivered the Reading's increased representation motion to NUS Extraordinary Conference, which passed with an overwhelming majority (despite loads of people saying it would never get through!)

• I challenged John Denham here at Reading on the issue of the government's Proposed Higher and Further Education Funding cuts

• For the last two years as President and Founder of the Mature Students Representation Group I have worked hard with RUSU and the University of Reading to put mature student issues on the map here.

While I can't promise to stand up and speak to the throngs at NUS conference, I CAN promise to put representation of Reading students' interests first!
