Manifesto

You will have deduced my name by now so here's the rest, I'm 23 and studying Politics - contrary to popular belief I am actually a fresher. I hail from Coventry in the wonderful West Midlands but have lived for the past 3 years in London. A big reason why I think I could really make your vote worth while is my age and experience gained over the last few years. I'm 23 because I started University in Roehampton -London in 2004 (on a drama course) but finished there in 2006 to pursue politics elsewhere. While there I was a senior member of the Student Union council and a society president. During this time we were called upon to impeach the president of the Union for financial misconduct and it was myself who lead the calls for this action.

I am also a Trade Union rep. for Unite the Union where I fight for members rights daily, and have worked for the NatWest Bank for the last 2 years as a Service Quality Manager. I have more experience than most in the key areas for student trustees, I have integrity shown in my previous roles and current job. Since coming to Reading I have campaigned for a campus polling station, supported the Nestle boycott and for a swimming pool. Please give me your No 1 vote and give me the chance to steer RUSU into the premier league.
