If elected, Lance will -

On Student SAFETY:

• Make campus secure 24/7!
• Increase student awareness of off-campus dangers.

On Student COMMUNITY:

• Strengthen relations with the local community to eliminate the student 'scapegoat'

concept ..

• Weaken the 'us' Vs 'them' feeling shared by many

On Student GROUPS:

• Inject stagnating 'Liberation Groups' with a crucial new lease of life.
• Strengthen 'Representation Groups' after the success of this year.
• Increase awareness of all Liberation and Representation groups and direct them towards becoming more active in campaigns!

On Student HEALTH

• Increased campaigns to tackle sexual health awareness to combat the ever increasing STI contamination amongst students
• Promote and fight for, the NUS 'Free Prescriptions for ALL Students' campaign.
• Promote the unknown free NHS health care and services available to most students

On Student INCLUSION:

• Ensure every student has the opportunity to be included in every aspect of university life - in particular working for student parents, SWD, mature and post-graduate students.
• BULMERSHE students will not just be seen as the 'other' campus, I will reinforce a relationship with your JCR to ensure you are considered in all RUSU decisions, but your individual needs are still voiced.

On JCRs and WELFARE POSITIONS:

• Ensure a high level of training is given to all welfare officers
• Create relationships between JCRs and the Students Union Sabbatical and support staff.

Lance will strengthen Reading University's diverse community.

• Ensure the opportunity for inclusion of ALL students in EVERY aspect of University
• Working towards the protection and safety of ALL students; both on and off campus.
