The National NUS Conference this year is especially important since the Governance Review ? a document that could change the NUS for the better - will be debated.And I want to the there!

So why Lance?

Doing a degree in Politics and Sociology has not been enough for me.I've strived to keep myself busy; and I've found the best place for this has been within the Union itself.

Amongst various campaigns and fighting for what I believe to be 'right', my involvement's to RUSU have included:

NUS 'LGBT Summer Conference' 2007 RUSU delegate leader
RUC Treasurer 2007-2008
NUS 'Extraordinary Conference' 2007 RUSU delegate

Having attended NUS LGBT Conference 2007 and NUS 'Extraordinary Conference' in December, I feel I have both the experience and understanding of the governance system that the NUS offer.

Furthermore, having attended 'Extraordinary Conference' I am knowledgeable of the biggest debate that the NUS has posed in a very long time. At last conference, there were people moaning about how conference was being run; yet these people failed to voice their opinion. If you vote for Lance, this will NOT happen.

Reading - The NUS is changing, and it needs people who both understand it and care for it to be there. I am this person, and I will be the voice that Reading Students deserve.
