Education Reps are elected student reps whose role it is to ensure that the student voice is heard clearly at a faculty level. They work closely with Student Academic Reps (StARs) within their faculty, with Education Reps in the other faculties, and with the Students' Union sabbatical officers, particularly the VP Education.
Education Reps are elected annually in the Spring Term and serve for a year whilst still studying a course. There are two Education Reps for each faculty, giving eight in total. As well as being the lead student representatives in their faculty and providing support and communication to the StARs, they also sit on university-wide meetings, in particular University Senate and University Staff Student Forum.
