Student Television

Reading University Student Television (RUON) is an exciting new society which has launched the University's very first student operated Television Station.

RUON was established by second years' Stuart Wood and James Geddes. The society that exists currently has some original and intriguing ideas for the content of the programming. Just some of which includes a news and weather programme, a comedy sketch show and a documentary on university life.

What we need most of all now is more people to participate. People's involvement and ideas is what is needed to help push RUON to the next level. So if you are looking to branch out your skills as a director, writer, cameraman, presenter or even a runner this really is the society to join. Maybe you have a pitch for a programme you would like to make...all ideas are welcome.

What are you waiting for?!

Accumulate!

We are looking to film two more shows of Accumulate!, the critically acclaimed gameshow (voted 3rd best gameshow produced in 2009).

Two teams of three fight for glory in a combat of epic proportions. Or so we like to think. There are four rounds ranging from quiz questions to tower building. The team with the most points at the end of the four rounds wins, it's as simple as that.

We are now looking to film two specials on the Wednesday of Week 6:

Science Students vs Arts Students
Pirates vs Ninjas

We need teams of three people to apply for the show and are hoping that people will dress up for the pirates vs ninjas episode.

If you are interested in taking part, email the names, email address, and mobile numbers of each team member to accumulate@ruon.org , along with an interesting fact about each person.

The second season of Accumulate! can be viewed at www.ruon.tv
