The St Pat's 5 Mile Scurry

Saturday 13th March starting at 11am from the Union.

This will be a fun event, with prizes going to the Best St Pat's Fancy Dress, 1^st Hall Team and 1^st Sports Club/Society Team as well as the usual 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd category prizes.

The cost is £11 for all those who are affiliated to BUCS or UK Athletics and £13 per person otherwise

All the money raised will be split between ReadiBus, Autistica and RSHP to help towards the Half Marathon fundraiser total as well as some money going to RUAC.

You only need three people in each team, so why not get a few people to represent your Hall, club or society and bring the rest of your members along to cheer them on? Or just enter as an individual, either as a warm up for the half marathon, for a bit of fun or for a chance to feel fit before your Saturday night!

There will also be a hearty Irish meal available in Mojo's after the race and all competitors will get a medal upon finishing as a memento.

This event is part of RUSU's and the Reading University Athletics Club's efforts to fundraise as this year we have a large group of students running the Reading Half Marathon, all in the name of charity. Each person has to raise a minimum of £100 so all the money raised by this race will help the runners to reach their target and boost their totals.

If you can't make the race, why not support RUSU's Half Marathon Team by sponsoring them - any amount large or small will be greatly appreciated.
