BUCS

There are currently 39 teams that compete regularly in BUCS matches most Wednesday afternoons from October to March.  Other clubs attend individual championships held throughout the year. 

During April and May our cricket teams are in action.

In the Fixtures and Results box, you can select Reading and then the sport and team that you want to follow.

It's been a great season for Reading teams in 08/09.  Some of the successes include the men's rugby 1st team winning their league and being premoted to Premier B, and men's basketball 1st team also winning and gaining promotion to tier 1.  Women's football and men's tennis 3rd team also move up the leagues to tiers 1 and 3 respectively.

Two of our hockey teams, the 1st and 3rd men's teams, won their leagues but narrowly missed out on promotion after some closely fought play-offs.

Information for BUCS Team Captains:

Complete your team sheet (kept in the Hub) before each game.
Take your BUCS handbook to each game.
Check you have downloaded your scoresheet from the BUCS website (not every sport/team has one).
Call in the score to RUSU before 6:30pm on the Wednesday to have it announced in Mojo's and 3sixty.
Scoresheets to be handed in to RUSU before 9:30am on the Thursday.
