Reading University Cheerleaders (RUC) are a well renouned cheerleading squad.
Cheerleading is a comprehensive performance sport including elements of dance, gymnastics and displays of strength. The common misconception is of a group of girls throwing pom pons - in fact we throw people!
RUC compete in cheer and cheer dance divisions at many national and international competitions each year. We recently won 5 first place trophies in one weekend, and continuously perform well against stiff competition.
