Governance

Reading University Students’ Union is an unincorporated association with charitable status and will soon become a registered charity.

The Union is governed by a Constitution and accompanying regulations. RUSU has identified 3 facets to our governance structure.(how we run):strategic leadership, student representation, and member feedback. Strategic leadership is provided by The Trustee Board, who oversee the progress and development of the Union.

The key driver of RUSU policy – trying to influence the University, the National Union of Students, the Government etc- is the Campaigns and Representation Convention which is open to all students and shapes the work of Sabbatical officers.

Finally, RUSU has a genuine thirst for feedback on the services we provide and we organise systematic opportunities for members to comment through our market research program and our managed services forum.
