The Hub

April 2007 saw the opening of the brand new Hub within the Students' Union. It brings together student advice and support services, volunteer opportunities and student activities as well as being the base for the elected sabbatical officers who are located upstairs. Essentially, the Hub has been designed by students for students and incorporates a comfortable, informal meeting space for RUSU's student groups. On entering via the main entrance you will be greeted by the new Students' Union Reception. We are always happy to help – whatever, the question might be!

Advice and Representation

We have a strong tradition of independent representation and advice in all areas affecting students as students. If you have any worries on issues such as finance, accommodation, immigration, academic matters or personal concerns then come along to the Hub and speak privately with one of our Student Advisors. They are experienced, permanent staff members who will work with you in absolute confidence. You can make an appointment or take advantage of our drop in service.
