AIESEC is a global organisation that develops students into leaders by running our international exchange programme. As a member of AIESEC at the University of Reading you can directly be a part of running a small business!
So what is AIESEC?
AIESEC is:
- The world's largest student organisation.
- Present in over 100 countries and territories.
- An independent, non-for profit and non-political organisation whose motivation is youth leadership
development.
- A registered charity in the UK.
What does AIESEC do?
AIESEC does:
- The Work Abroad Programme. This is our exchange programme through which we enable students and
recent graduates from the UK to find exciting cultural internships in over 100 countries during a year out,
over their summer or when they graduate.
- The Global Source Programme. This is the other half of our exchange programme through which we
establish internships with companies here in the UK and source them top interns from over 100 countries.
- Conferences. AIESEC provides free training to all of its members at regional, national and international
conferences. They enable you to network with other members from across the UK or the globe, attend
workshops run by some of our corporate partners and party hard!
- Careers Fairs. These generate funding for our exchange programmes and member training and provide
our members with valuable skills and experience.
