This academic year we get a budget from the student union enabling us to offer cheaper rates to our members and more activities than in our first year!! Lessons will resume at the start of term, we will hold a stall at Freshers' Fayre (OCTOBER 3rd 2007) to sign up for lessons and also will be holding additional sign up sessions for non-freshers and former members- everyone is welcome! I'm pleased to be introducing a new class: Drills for stomach, hips and thighs- let's tone up! Email me on lvu05ik@reading.ac.uk or drop me a message on this group forum!

Group Trip to Italian Restaurant "Il Gusto" in Reading who host Live Bellydancers "El Amiraat".
Should be a fab social and brilliant to see live bellydancers!

She will be teaching us how to dance with a veil.

BELLYDANCE CHRISTMAS PARTY & PERFORMANCE (International Student Night)!!!
We can all party together and also have the chance to perform together. Very similar to last year's CASABLANCA Night which was a HUGE success!

TRIP TO LONDON- to Brick Lane, Camden town to get bellydance costume equipment for the costume workshop later in the term. Also in the evening we'll be going to an Egyptian/Lebanese restaurant for a drink and food.
PLACE: London obviously! (Reading to London Paddington by train)
PRICE: transport costs will be (comlpetely/partially) covered by the society and Student Union.
COSTUME WORKSHOP- will follow the TRIP TO LONDON a week or two later. We'll be making skirts or embroidering our own belts or bras, anything you choose to do. I've made my own costumes before and so have other committee members so we'll be there to help! We'll provide drinks, snacks and music- we'll be like grannies all sewing away chatting about nonsense- GREAT! Boys welcome!!!
P.S. Bring your grannies if they're willing to help heeheeee!
