Weekly climbing
The club runs indoor climbing trips every Monday and Thursday to local walls. We provide all the equipment and training you need.
Weekend walks
For those that enjoy a countryside stroll, we organise walks in the local area, invariably including a pub stop for refreshments. More ambitious exercises such as night navigation outings are also on offer.
Trips
We run weekend trips twice a term to varied locations across the UK, including The Peak District, The Lake District, Cornwall, Devon, Snowdonia and Dartmoor. These action-packed weekends offer a selection of climbing, walking and scrambling and we either stay in bunk houses or camp under the stars.
Our week-long annual trip to Scotland takes place in the Easter holidays; with the snow and ice adding an extra dimension to our activities.
Socials
Our members meet in the Back of Beyond in Reading Town Centre every Tuesday from 8.30, giving us relaxed atmosphere to catch up with each other. There are also larger socials scattered through term, such as Halloween and Christmas.
