The Spark* Relaunch
As part of an on going commitment to provide the student body with a newspaper they can be proud of, the Spark* team have spent the last few months evaluating the quality and structure of the paper in order to improve its standard.
In conjunction with the University Typography Department, Spark* has undergone a radical transformation which will be unveiled on Friday 25th January 2008, the first issue for the calendar year. As part of the redesign, all of the sections have been designed making them more appealing to our readers and easier to dissect. The relaunch also sees a number of new features to certain sections and the return of the interview page.
In addition to these changes Spark* has a new official mast head. This will become the staple image of the paper across campus. The new look has been designed to replace the outdated image which has been used by the paper for the last 5 years. The redesign is both modern and trendy, reflecting the increasingly diverse student population here at the University of Reading.
To celebrate the changes Spark*s editor Claire Taylor is throwing a massive party, which all members of Spark* are encouraged to attend. (Please see below for details).
