Sports

RUSU has over 50 different sports, ranging from classic popular sports like football, rugby and netball to a number of different martial arts and the more unusual sports such as ultimate frisbee, floorball and mountaineering.

Club activities usually happen on a Wednesday afternoon, when BUSA matches are played and other sports travel to their training grounds. Many clubs also train on campus on weekday evenings. On this page you will find a list of all the sports clubs at RUSU, and links to more information about each club. If you can not find the information you are looking for then please contact the Student Activities Administrator for more details.

On Wednesday 30th April, University of Reading sports teams will be competing against Buckinghamshire New University in the first varsity to be held between the two universities.  Please follow this link for more information about the event, and a timetable for the day.  Everyone is welcome to come along for an action packed day of sport.

Referees and Umpires Wanted
We are always looking for referees and umpires to help at the BUSA fixtures.  If you think you may be able to help, then please contact the Student Activities administrator for more details.
