Marketing Assistant

Designer

Nursery Apprentices

Marketing Assistant - £16,303 - £19,092 per annum

Reading University Students’ Union is looking for a Marketing Assistant to promote the organisation by undertaking website content updates and social media activities. It’s a hands’ on role for a self-starter who can work well within a team and to tight deadlines.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Experience in managing online social media platforms and digital tools;
  • Experience of copywriting for web, email, social media;
  • Experience utilising social media for promotion and creating engaging content;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with great attention to detail skills;
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects whilst meeting deadlines;
  • Proofreading skills;
  • An organised approach.

Designer – Full Time or Part Time £17,557 - £19,092 per annum (for Full Time)

Reading University Students’ Union is looking for a skilled and creative Designer to work as part of the Marketing team. The role will manage multiple design projects for the organisation and will liaise with internal departments to fulfil their requirements for posters, flyers, leaflets, banners, booklets, print media and general marketing collateral for the organisation.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite;
  • Understanding of the printing processes;
  • Knowledge of CSS and HTML;
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects whilst meeting deadlines;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic and deadline-oriented environment.
  • Proofreading skills;
  • Flexible approach.

 

A good portfolio of previous work is essential. This is a hands’ on role for a self starter who can work well within a team and to tight deadlines.

Working at Little Learners Nursery

RUSU provides up to 106 places in our purpose built Little Learners Day Nursery on the Whiteknights Campus. We are looking for the following highly motivated and energetic staff to work flexibly as part of a friendly team that prides itself on providing exceptional standards of childcare. The ideal candidates will have a good understanding of how children learn through play and will have planned for children’s learning using the Early Years Foundation Stage in partnership with the children’s parents. A sound knowledge of safeguarding and health and safety is also essential.

We currently have vacancies for Childcare Apprentices to train towards achieving intermediate and advance Children and Young People’s Workforce qualification or equivalent.
