Service AIms

We aim to provide practical solutions to emotional issues in a relaxed and friendly environment.

We are members of a number of professional bodies including: AdviceUK, National Association of Student Money Advisers (NASMA), and National Homelessness Advice Service (NHAS). We work closely with other legal advice organisations and the University to provide a quality service.

The Advice Service has been awarded the Advice Quality Standard (AQS) since 2013. The AQS is awarded to organisations who give advice to members of the public on legal issues.

Our role is not to judge, but to empower our clients by explaining options, rights and responsibilities.
