Over the past few months, RUSU have had to adapt the way in which we work. We have endeavoured to keep as many of our services functioning as possible and have provided everything that we can remotely and virtually.
Almost every part of student life at Reading has had to adapt and change, including how we operate. That being said, we are committed to ensuring that there is no compromise when it comes to helping you make the most of student life at Reading.
We have opened our building and are now operating with a blended-approach of physical and virtual events and services, to ensure we can fulfil the three priorities we identified at the start of the pandemic:
-
Providing key services to students and supporting their wellbeing.
-
Represent and champion student issues to the university and other
stakeholders to ensure we continue to represent students.
- To support our staff and their wellbeing.
We will endeavor to focus on doing right by our students, staff and
the wider community whilst continuing to be accountable to our
membership.
The blended-approach will ensure RUSU will continue to be a place of inclusivity, positive in attitude and energy, forward thinking whilst always acting with integrity.

We must continue to come together as a community and support each other the best we can. Remember, we are here to help.
