Change signage on "disabled" toilets to "accessible" toilets

    Current

Toilets on campus that are designed to be wheelchair accessible are labeled as "Disabled". I would like RUSU to campaign to have these relabeled as "Accessible". The label "disabled toilet" is a negative label which is both stigmatising and grammatically incorrect (a disabled toilet would not flush). The term "accessible" is more correct and better highlights the functional difference from a standard communal toilet, rather than implicitly segregating the people who may use this type of toilet.
