Making Policy happen

Policy at RUSU is intended to reflect the will of the student membership, to represent their desires, aspirations and goals that collectively RUSU can achieve.  The recent policy proposals brought to student voice did not receive enough votes for us to reasonably say that we are fulfilling this goal of student leadership.

We hope to schedule sessions for students to learn how to promote their policies, which will be open to both proposition and opposition. This will serve two purposes: greater awareness of issues affecting your lives, and invigorating the debates that matter. If you would like to know more about the reasons why these policies are not part of the work of RUSU, or have suggestions regarding how better to shape the process e-mail campaigns@rusu.co.uk
