Postgraduate Course Reps and Postgraduate School Reps
Postgraduate Course Reps and School Reps represent postgraduate student views on academic issues on every postgraduate taught course. They act as the link between students and the academic staff at either course or school level; ensuring the student voice is being heard and positive changes are being made in every school.

Postgraduate Part-Time Officers (Taught)
Postgraduate taught students can put themselves forward as candidates for the Postgraduate (Taught) Part-time Officer position. The successful candidate would hold this position from October 2018 to end of September 2019.
You will have the opportunity to campaign on issues that affect you and your peers. You have access to resources and support in order to make position change on campus, within the Union and on a national level. You will work with other Union Reps and develop relationships with students and staff on campus.

Postgraduate Part-Time Officers (Research)
This October, postgraduate research students can stand to be the Postgraduate (Research) Part-time Officer. The Postgraduate (Research) Part-time Officer's term in office will run from October 2018 to June 2019.
This is a great way to represent your peers at an institutional level and is a way to get to work with academics and staff across the University and the Union whilst making a real difference during your time here at Reading.

Elections for the role of Postgraduate Course Rep, Postgraduate School Rep, Postgraduate Taught Part-Time Officer open on Saturday, 22nd September 2018 at 10am!
Nominations close on Tuesday, 16th October 2018 at 3pm.
To nominate yourself as a candidate in any of these elections, click on Stand in Election (above) and follow the instructions.

Even if you decide not to stand in this election, make sure your voice is heard and have your say in the Postgraduate Elections.
Voting opens 10am, Wednesday, 17th October 2018 and ends 3pm on Tuesday, 23rd October 2018.
Results will be posted online on Thursday, 25th October 2018.

All elected Course Reps are invited to this year’s Annual Course Rep Conference taking place on two dates this year:
- Saturday 27th October 10-3pm (Registration in Monterey Lounge)
- Saturday 3rd November 10-3pm (Registration in Monterey Lounge)
This Essential Training day is designed for Course Reps to gain all the knowledge and information they need to know to carry out their representative roles over the year and to network with fellow representatives on courses across the whole University. Run by RUSU in partnership with University of Reading staff, there are a choice of workshops on offer for Reps to attend including; Policy 101; Communications & Impact; Campaigns and Community; Essential UG/PG training. This year we have two keynote speakers TBC and a buffet lunch for all including Academic Rep goodie bags which you won’t want to miss out on.
