Last year we asked students, staff and the local community to tell us what Reading meant to them. Thank you to all who submitted a creative design, whether through photos, artwork or words.
As well as the mural itself we plan to place our three favourite submissions as individual pieces around the RUSU building. We were blown away with the variety of submissions and struggled to pick just three. RUSU staff voted via an online poll and we have selected three winners.
Thank you to everyone that submitted a design and congratulations to Isabella, Rosie and Elia for their beautiful submissions!
Congratulations also go to Loanna Chung Kee Mew who was the lucky winner of our mural prize draw, winning an Alexa Echo Dot!
We’ll be working on the mural itself over the next few months as the project will be passed to the incoming Full-time Officer team. We can’t wait to unveil the final design and share something of what Reading means to our community.
