Help us design our community mural

Calling all creative souls! Are you an aspiring poet? A graffiti artist? A graphic designer? A dab hand with a camera? Get your paintbrush, ipad, camera or notebook out and show us what Reading means to you.

We are collecting art, photos, poems and words so that we can encapsulate what Reading means to you to create our community mural ensemble. The finished mural will be a large-scale piece of art on the front wall of the RUSU building, facing Palmer Quad.

This mural will inform artistic interpretations of what Reading embodies to students, staff, and those in the local community.

You do not need to be a skilled artist or have artistic knowledge to be part of this community mural project - it’s open to all abilities! As it is multimedia, you can send photos, words, poems, drawings and any designs about what Reading means to you.

The three best designs will be individually placed in the RUSU building and whoever enters will have a chance to win an Amazon Alexa Echo Dot 8th Generation.

Interested? Please see the artwork guidelines and consent form before getting stuck into your masterpiece!
