Relax With RUSU

Feeling apprehensive ahead of Summer Exams? RUSU has your back with a range of events to help you de-stress!  

April 19th - May 31st 2022 

Relax with RUSU is a summer term series of events aimed at supporting student wellbeing during the revision and exam period. Check out our April 2022 and May 2022 calendars to see what we've planned to help you take time out of revision and focus on building positive mental health. At the bottom of this page, you’ll also find a list of welfare tools & resources to help you take care of yourself this exam season.

RUSU Advice Service 

Based in the Students’ Union and offers free, confidential and independent advice on housing, finance and academic issues. The Advice Service is free, confidential and independent service for students seeking support on academic, money and housing issues.

Student Welfare Team 

A team of professionals, based in the Carrington Building, who can advise you on a wide range of personal and welfare issues that may impact your studies and day-to-day life. Drop-in Monday to Friday, 10:00 – 16:00 or arrange an appointment at?

Counselling and Wellbeing 

This service offers free, confidential and specialist support to all students. You can book appointments with a Counsellor or a Mental Health Adviser. Contact them at 0118 378 4216, 0118 378 4218 or

Relaxation Room  

Come visit our relaxation room in Upper 3sixty! You can book the relaxation room at RUSU Reception for your slot. It’s a great place to go for some time out or to use one of our relaxation chairs. Come on your own or bring a couple of friends. 

Life Tools 

The programme put on throughout the summer term can really help you get things under control. There are sessions on stress reduction, getting a good night’s sleep and techniques to increase memory.
