Staying Connected During the Break

Be Honest - What do you think of RUSU? Let us know and be in with the chance of winning £150.

It's the end of term! Well done everyone - we made it! Whether you're heading home or staying in Reading, we hope you have a wonderful break. This email is full of ways to stay connected with RUSU and things going on locally over the holiday, as well as stuff to look forward to next term. 

  • Pop into RUSU to visit the cafe or one of the shops. Opening hours below and on our website:
    • Open all next week (13th - 17th & 20th - 23rd December) 10am - 4pm
    • Closed all dates between 24th December – 3rd January - our team will all be taking a break!
    • Back open 4th - 7th January 10am - 4pm 
    • Then back to term time hours on 10th January.
  • Our advice services can still be accessed online whilst we're open. 

  • Complete our survey for the chance to win £150

    • We'd love your honest feedback all about the experience you've had at University and where you think there might be opportunities to make improvements. And, if you complete the survey there's a chance you could win £150! (More info here.)

  • Our first Union night back on Sunday 9th January... there will be UV paint!
  • If you're looking for a paid or voluntary opportunity alongside your studies or maybe you're in your final year and starting to think about applying for jobs... look out for the upcoming RUSU leadership elections! Even if you're not putting yourself forward, there will still be lots of opportunities to get involved, vote and have your say on the leadership of your students' union. More info will be coming in January.
