Welcome to Bridges Hall...

...the newest halls on campus and home to 649 wonderful students! Positioned just over the beautiful Whiteknights Lake, Bridges is a short walk from the centre of campus and  Ice House bar and cinema located at the nearby Wessex Halls. Being in Bridges means you are not far from our beloved Union, Domino's on Wokingham road
& the no 19 or 17 bus in to town, so really what more could you ask for?  Other facilities within Bridges Hall include the reception, post room, laundry room,  covered bike storage and of course our wonderful JCR room which has hosted our Bridges Big Night In, Self Defence Sessions and even a mocktail making class. Being one of the larger halls on campus, Bridges hosts a range of lovely accomodation including premium ensuite rooms, premium rooms with shared bathrooms and townhouse rooms.

As members of Bridges Hall JCR comittee we lived in the halls during our first year at university and were elected into our positions by our fellow students, we hold regular meetings to ensure that you guys will get the most from your experience living on campus.  As your JCR, we are here to support you through what will hopefully be the best experience of your lives, we are here to answer any questions over the summer, freshers week and beyond. We are here to make sure you are moved and settled in well, to organise an INCREDIBLE freshers week and to plan a range of events to keep you busy all year round such as quiz nights, hall socials, formals and charity events. So if you see us around Bridges, campus or anywhere else feel free to come and have a chat with one of us or even drop us an email or facebook message.

We hope you have a fantastic year with us in Bridges Hall, we can't wait to see you all soon.

Lots of Bridges love,

your JCR.
