    Safe cycling path to Northcourt

    Current

To create an additional entrance to the campus by car park 7, create a crossing safe for cyclists, and campaign for a safe cycling lane down the Wellington avenue so that residents of the Northcourt group have a safe cycling entrance and quicker pedestrian entrance to campus.

As a resident of the halls in Northcourt group, I always cycle when I have to be on campus. There are two entrances to the campus available for cyclists - Pepper lane and Shinfield road. Both of these entrances are really dangerous as there is also very heavy traffic in the area and in order to avoid the traffic I always have to cycle on the pavements, which is dangerous to the pedestrians. Making another entrance at the corner of the campus by car park 7 would be really helpful.
