Postgraduate Senior Rep

What's the role?

There are 16 Postgraduate Senior Rep positions available in every Autumn election. Each school has one Postgraduate and two Undergraduate Senior Reps, with the exception of the Henley Business School, which has 4 Undergraduate and 3 Postgraduate Senior Reps. Working in partnership with the University, Senior Reps create positive change to benefit both current and future students.

Becoming a Postgraduate Senior Rep is a great way to meet people, develop new skills and to make a real difference during your time here at Reading!

What's involved?

  • Liaise with students, gain feedback and represent the student voice
  • Work alongside Course Reps and RUSU Education Officer
  • Create positive changes in partnership with University staff
  • Attend termly meetings with departmental staff and School Directors of Teaching & Learning
  • Chair Course Rep Consultations and gather feedback on RUSU’s Digital Rep tool ROSIE

Am I eligible?

Running to be a Postgraduate Senior Rep doesn’t make you ineligible to nominate yourself for the other Postgraduate positions available, you can still apply to be a PG Student Voice member or PGT Part-time Officer.
