Undergraduate Course Rep

Main Purpose

To carry out effective academic representation at Course level, raise awareness of academic representation & to ensure the student voice is heard. To attend University/Union meetings & work on academic campaigns.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Attend Course Rep training
  • Ensure students in your Faculty are aware of how to contact you directly and to communicate with students regularly about academic matters
  • Help to promote Faculty rep elections
  • Lead & support academic campaigns throughout the year
  • Regularly liaise with RUSU Education Officer & Academic Representation Co-ordinator.
  • Attend Student Staff Liaison Committees (SSLCs)
  • Attend/Chair RUSU Course Rep Consultations
