The University of Reading's Mature Students' Society (RU Mature) is a society which provides a network for all mature students. Just in case you’re not sure, that’s anyone over 21. With free membership and open to all undergraduate and postgraduate students, it is a great way of getting to know others from different faculties and subject areas across the University.
We meet up at lunch-times, get together for meals in local restaurants, team up for Thursday quiz nights and so much more … You can sign up to our Facebook page to hear about upcoming events and join in with our discussions. We are a member lead Society, so if you have something you would like to do (for example a film or theatre evening, or just meet up for a coffee or a pint), let us know on Facebook.
We have lots of experience of university of life and there is almost always someone who can help with any problems you might encounter. You can also ask us anything you want to know about the Society. If you prefer to talk to a real person, usually one of us will be in the Chaplaincy at Friday lunchtime (you can also make tea or coffee there - cheapest on campus).
To join RU Mature for FREE, just login to this website and click on the ‘add to basket’ icon on the right hand side. Please email directly if you have any problems with this.
