Amnesty International is a Nobel Prize-winning, global human rights organisation fighting for the rights of all people.  As a student group, our aim is to raise awareness about human rights issues and get more people involved. Action may be taken in the form of letter writing campaigns or various fundraisers.

In the past we've been successful in getting a lot of students to 'pledge for parity' on International Woman's Day as well as raising awarness about the gender differences that exist in society; writing christmas cards for those wrongly imprisoned and raising awarness about Yemen.

We welcome anyone to join us, whether they've got lots of experience with Amnesty, knowledge of human rights or not. All we want is passionate students who wont stand by and allow human rights breaches to occur, to help us spread our message and make a difference.
