About i.Volunteer at Scouts in Berkshire:
Scouting’s purpose across the UK is to help young people, aged 6-25 years old, achieve their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.
With 450,000 members in the UK, Scouting is the largest mixed youth organisation in the country. Scouting happens in over 130 communities across Berkshire, involving over 9,200 young people from a wide range of backgrounds and over 3,000 volunteers.
We fully support flexible volunteering and look to find a role which meets your needs and skills: from organising a programme of fun activities for our youth, to teaching them a new skill, helping on a camp, working behind the scenes in organisation, helping support the training, or working on one of our fabulous events. There really is an opportunity for everyone and the chance to make new friends, learn new skills and have a lot of fun.
