Activities of ELSA Reading for the academic year 2018-2019:

We have a very exciting year ahead of us with a schedule bursting with academic and professional events to widen your knowledge about national and international issues!

  1. Guided visit to Westminster Parliament.

  2. Visit the Crown Court at Reading.

  3. Student Trainee Exchange Programme (STEP)

  4. Attend the National Council Meetings of ELSA UK.

  5. Debating Session on a given motion.

  6. Our annual free-of-charge ‘ELSA Reading’ trip abroad to a European Destination!

Aims and Objectives:

  • to provide opportunities to law students in getting to the legal system and spirit
  • to engage law students from different parts of the world to an academic and professional environment 
  • to assist and encourage law students in integrating to the legal profession
