The Latin American & Spanish Society (LASS) was established on 1998 in the University of Reading. LASS is a friendly group of students and professionals from around the world, living in Reading area, who are interested in to create strong bonds between Spanish speakers and promote Latin and Hispanic cultures in the community.

Our aims are:

1. To promote the correct use of Spanish language.
2. To promote the Latin American and Spanish cultures.
3. To promote friendly bonds and mutual respect among society’s members and non-members.
4. To facilitate the integration of foreign members into British community.
5. To participate in local and foreign charities.

Our regular activities are Spanish classes, Spanish conversation and Latin Parties. We invite you to join our friendly and enthusiastic society and participate in our activities every term. Suggestions and volunteeres for new activities are always welcome!
