Whether you’re bananas about blockerbusters, Godard is your God or you’re an indie darling the Reading University Film Society might be the place for you.
Whichever aspect of film you’re interested in, from simply viewing, learning the technical aspects, making or discussing films you will be able further develop your skills as well as having the chance to meet other like-minded cinephiles at the Reading University Film Society. With alternate weekly workshops and screenings, socials and trips there's plenty to get involved with.
With a focus on making short fiction and documentary films, the Reading University Film Society is a group that that allows students to write and produce films together. Any student can join, regardless of experience, and there are a whole range of roles to fill such as director, cinematographer, actors and many more. If you aren't the practical type, then you can simply join us during our screenings or our socials.
