Join the Reading University Model United Nations society in a debate on the elf rebellion crisis. Learn how to debate, plot and cause mischief!
Join the bird society to chat about the natural world and enjoy a chilled film night.
Join the Reading University Model United Nations society to fundraise for UNICEF, a world-leading children's charity.
Join the Reading University Do-It-Yourself society to learn how to knit, so that you can join in with their upcoming knit-a-thon. The knit-a-thon is a yearly event to make winter-wear for those in need. You can also make some sock-snowman decorations!
Spend the evening watching anime Christmas specials! Whether you're a hardcore fan or have never watched an anime before, you're welcome to come!
Join the Harmony Choir in singing your favourite Christmas carols and festive songs.
Join the Cole Museum Zoology society in bringing in your unloved plants, swapping them for different ones and taking them home, either for yourself or as gifts.
Get a sweat on to some Latin-American Christmas Zumba music.
Entry is £3 for Zumba society members and £5 for non-members.
Join the Reading University Business society for a quiz which features drinks, pizza and prizes. The event is organized by Accenture, so there will be a business networking session afterwards.
Join the Education society for a festive showing of Love Actually.
Join the K-Pop society for festive fun at Reading's Winter on Ice.
Entry is free, but tickets for attractions including ice-skating can be purchased online or at the venue.
Join the Reading University Christian Union to sing your favourite Christmas carols. Afterwards there will be a talk about the reason of the season, and free mulled wine and gingerbread.
You can meet at the church, or you can walk with the group from the Palmer Building at 18:30.
The Chess society, RU Not Drinking Much?, and the Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Film society have collaborated for a festive quiz!
Catch up with friends, share a bottle of wine, and enjoy a platter of cheese. There will be a selection of cheeses and wines available to purchase, as well as the usual drinks choices.
Entry is free. This event is for over 18's only. Sign up to the Facebook event if you're interested in attending.
Enjoy performances from Reading University Tap & Modern society, Reading University Ballet society, Reading University K-Pop society, and Reading University Ballroom, Latin & Salsa society. There will be plenty of prizes to win in a raffle, with proceeds going to local charity Chance to Dance Stars CIC.
Tickets are available from the Reading University Tap & Modern society page. Tickets are £5 for students and £6 non-students.
RUSU have organized a trip to the Oxford Christmas markets! Come and celebrate the festivities and explore the historic town of Oxford.
Tickets must be purchased online in advance of the event. Tickets are £12, which includes transport.
Join the Student Eats team for a festive afternoon of holly wreath-making in the campus secret garden.
Meet outside the Palmer Building at 12:00.
