Welcome to NHSF Reading (Reading University Hindu Society)!

NHSF Reading believes in promoting, teaching and preserving Hindu dharma (duty), providing students a unique opportunity to connect with Hinduism whilst experiencing university. Throughout the year, we hold regular events that are OPEN TO ALL to participate!

Become a part of our culture and sewa (selfless service) events and benefit from a deeper understanding of Hinduism. Immerse yourself in celebrations at our monumental flagship events like Diwali Ball and Holi where everyone is welcome so come along with your friends. We are also introducing a new third flagship event this acedemic year, Patang aur Paan (Kite-flying festival). We strive to create a home away from home.

This is also your chance to meet new people at our socials, which vary from campus based socials like movie nights/game nights to trip based socials such as trampolining, TopGolf, Paintball, and Bowling.

Gain confidence and practice your social skills by bringing out the energy in you and participate in our sports teams whilst competing in inter-university and National competitions.
Make new friends in our collaborations with other societies. The opportunities are endless!
