This is but a portion of Japan's culture and if any of that intrigues you then we welcome you to join our events.
OUR GOAL as the University of Reading Japanese society is to help exhibit and foster an appreciation for Japan's unique blend of tradition, culture and lifestyle. Although, above all our aim is to be fun, friendly and awesome in everything we do. So no matter your background, studies and ethnicity we welcome you with open arms [and a friendly bow].
We will be often hosting film nights, social evenings and regular unique events. You name it, we’ll be doing it!
We also organise larger occasions such as social outings, and society trips to help you discover more about Japan. Last year, our highlights included: HyperJapan outings, field trips for Japanese students, exchange student hosting, DIY Sushi, Japan careers events and support, and so much more! So what are you waiting for?
