Tired of classes? .. Come join the circus for some fun!!
RUCAS is a dedicated society that involves a whole spectrum of circus orientated activities including (not limited to) juggling, poi, staff, diabolo, hooping, contact manipulation, uni cycling, rope dart, acroyoga etc.
We welcome all interested members, with any skill level, and we have the equipment and expertise to cater for absolute beginners, up to advanced level. The society prides itself on developing talent and confidence through performing and support.
RUCAS is a very social group and we also regularly host events with other societies, take part in performances and run trips to circus conventions. We also sometimes attend conventions and watch other circus performances.
The society holds at the moment 2 weekly sessions where we get together to practice, play, teach and generally have a laugh.
Tuesdays 8pm-10pm - Workshops
Saturdays 5pm-7pm - Jam sessions
All run in 3Sixty (RUSU), unless stated otherwise on the plannings or Facebook page.
> We also organise social nights (board games, quizz and karaoke ..) to have an excuse to meet together again.
Come learn with us the skills, and then go play with fire equipement on Fire Nights, held in Reading or Egham.
