Welcome to the Reading University Bellydance Society!
RUBDS provides the perfect opportunity to learn a new skill, meet lots of new people and have fun!
We have weekly dance practice where we learn traditional Bellydance moves and techniques as well as incorporating these into choreography.
All sessions are led by our instructor Rossella Kench who has her own website http://www.dancingmonnalisa.com which includes videos of our performances at local shows.
Each session includes a warm-up, Bellydance drills and a pilates-style cool-down.
Dance steps are broken down and practised through fun dance drills so even if you have never danced before, you can come along and enjoy learning new skills whilst working out!
We are a friendly and all-inclusive society which allows us to hold many social events throughout the year. This includes themed socials, a Christmas meal, and taking part in performances in the local area.
