Who are the Reading Knights?
The Reading Knights are the Basketball team of the University of Reading. Both, the Men's team and the Women's team, compete in the South Eastern division of the British Universities & College Sports (BUCS) league.
Why should you join the Reading Knights?
The Reading Knights are a team on and off the court. During the season those people around you will start out as team mates and become friends through the weekly training sessions and games, as well as the regular social sessions.
Furthermore, we promise you, that if you dedicate yourself to the club when asked, you will be rewarded. The Knights promote teamwork, committment and discipline and these values will affect you as a player and as a person. You will experience first-hand support from players and coaches. Any individual who has previously worn a Knights jersey will tell you that being part of this club has been an integral part of their university life; a unique experience they are happy that they did not pass on.
