RAG Challenges

Below are RAG's chosen challenges for academic year 2019/20.

Everest Base Camp Trek

The trek to Everest Base Camp is one of the most famous hiking challenges in the world. It is without doubt one of the more challenging treks to take on, but the sheer thrill and sense of achievement you experience as you arrive at the Base Camp is hard to equal.

You will trek into the heart of the Himalaya, taking in some spectacular views along the way, including the famous Mount Everest (8848m), known locally as Sagarmatha, the world’s highest peak.

Charity: Breast Cancer Now

Right now, breast cancer is at a tipping point. More women are surviving. But more are being diagnosed than ever before. One in eight women in the UK will face breast cancer in their lifetime. And every 45 minutes, another woman dies from the disease.

We’re going to change that.

We’re Breast Cancer Now, the UK’s largest breast cancer research charity – and we're dedicated to funding research into this devastating disease.
